As a programmer, it makes sense to raise one's kids on Linux. Not cause Linux is superior or anything. But because it's incredibly easy to screw with while they're away.
So they break a vase? Well I guess this Xorg package isn't really necessary.
Broke a window? Write a script that inverts their mouse movements randomly.
Cursed? Write a proxy that redirects all links to http://www.hasbro.com/mylittlepony/en_CA/
Fun part: Refuse to fix the problem, they have to themselves.
Fun part: Claim it's karma. Deny all involvement.
Fun part: They become paranoid of the karma fairy.
Fun part: They start antagonizing all computers.
Down side: At age 10, realizes it really is you.
Down side: At age 17, they're hacking NORAD.

Review: TRON Legacy
First off, I'm not really one to hate movies. Even the fabled Star Wars prequels never really gets beyond distaste and disappointment. That's why I was a little vexed when I saw TRON Legacy and... hated it.

Science Fiction Implementation: Lightsabers
First off, let's make one thing completely clear:
Star Wars if fantasy. It has nothing to do with science.

Teh Bias: Mystery and Adventure
This article was originally printed on my community blog at Destructoid. I have reposted it here.
Shorah b'shem. If this month is about bias, I think it's my duty to speak up. I'm definitely biased about one thing, as anyone who's seen my game collection can tell you. If there's one thing that's clear, it's that I love Adventure games. And I don't mean The Legend of Zelda and Metroid, as Nintendo labels as games of the "adventure" genre. I refer to what would more suitably be called "Adventurelikes". Games similar in style to the classic 1976 game, Colossal Cave Adventure.
I'm talking about Zork, King's Quest, Monkey Island, Loom, Day of the Tentacle, Myst, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword, Syberia, The John DeFoe Quadrology (aka Chzo Mythos), and countless others. I'm talking about one of the most niche and PC-centric genres in the industry.
Don't worry, the name-dropping stops here.

Why BioShock 2 has a terrible intro.
Just... it's awful. Let me relate it to you in the form of a chat rant I had.

Review of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay and Assault on Dark Athena
Alright, time for another review. I have just finished The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, which as some of you might know also includes Escape from Butcher Bay. I am reviewing both of these games, since I had not played Butcher Bay before. So without further adieu, let's start.
